What is Tigas?
The brand Tigas is a retail pharmacy alliance with the aim of to give
independent pharmacies access to a wide range of marketing services and trading
support to ensure their continued success as independents. Unlike multiple chains,
Tigas is guided by the premise of valuing and helping pharmacists
maintain their independence.
Pharmvision’s marketing efforts are centered at accessing consumer
databases to provide a market for structured product promotions and professional
pharmacy services offered in Tigas. Sustained brand awareness of Tigas
amongst end consumers generate retail business which in turn, enhances sales
for Pharmvision.
How does the Tigas trade concept operate?
Pharmacy member stores operate under the cooperative brandname Tigas,
which is featured alongside their individual store name. The Tigas brand
is not franchised to pharmacies on a fee-basis, but on a collective commitment
to support a trading relationship with its brandowner, Pharmvision.
Under the Tigas membership programme, pharmacies enjoy special
promotion offers, unique opportunities to build business in their neighbourhoods,
leverage from direct marketing initiatives, collective advertisement features, fees
for space rentals as well as a host of other special trade and credit privileges.
